Terms of Sale
Last updated: 21 May 2026
These Terms of Sale govern purchases from showthelovefor.eu. They apply alongside our Terms of Service, Refund and Returns Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.
These terms are designed for consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade, business, or profession) shopping from within the European Union and other countries we ship to. Business customers should contact us before ordering for separate B2B terms.
1. The seller
Show the Love for Europe
Celovška cesta 149, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia
Email: contact@showthelovefor.eu
Phone: +387 61 504 114
2. Products
We sell apparel, accessories, posters, prints, and other printed goods inspired by European culture and values. Almost all items are made-to-order using print-on-demand manufacturing, which means they are produced after you place your order. This keeps waste low and lets us offer a wide range of designs without holding stock.
Product images are illustrative. Colours, textures, and exact fit may vary slightly between batches. Where a size guide is published, please consult it before ordering.
3. Prices and taxes
All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include applicable Slovenian VAT at the rate in force at the time of order. For deliveries to other EU countries, VAT is charged according to the One Stop Shop (OSS) rules at the rate of your destination country, where applicable.
Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm the order.
We may run promotions or display reference prices. In line with Directive (EU) 2019/2161 (the Omnibus Directive), any reference price shown for a promotion uses the lowest price applied to that product in the preceding 30 days.
4. How an order is formed
- You add products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
- Before payment you can review and amend your order summary, addresses, and total.
- By clicking the order-with-obligation-to-pay button (for example "Pay now" or "Buy now"), you submit a binding offer to buy.
- We send you an automatic order confirmation email. This acknowledges receipt and is not yet acceptance.
- Our acceptance is when we send you a separate dispatch or production confirmation email. At that point the contract is formed.
- If we cannot accept your order (for example product unavailable, suspected fraud, pricing error, restricted destination), we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
5. Payment
We accept payments through Shopify Payments, which processes Visa, Mastercard, and other major card brands, as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Payment is processed at the time you submit your order. We never store full card details. They are handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider.
6. Delivery
Delivery destinations, timelines, and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimated production and transit times are shown at checkout.
Risk passes to you when you (or someone you have nominated, other than the carrier) physically take possession of the goods.
If goods are not delivered within 30 days of the contract date, or any later date we have agreed, you may give us reasonable additional time. If we still do not deliver, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, EU consumers normally have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason.
Important exception: almost all of our products are personalised or made to your specifications and are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of the Directive.
Full details, including the cases where withdrawal does apply, how to exercise it, and the Model Withdrawal Form, are in our Refund and Returns Policy.
8. Statutory warranty of conformity
Separately from the right of withdrawal, EU consumers are entitled to a legal warranty of conformity for two years from delivery under Directive (EU) 2019/771. If a product does not conform to the contract (it is defective, does not match the description, or is not fit for the purpose intended), you can ask for repair or replacement free of charge, and, where appropriate, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
This statutory right is in addition to our voluntary policy on damaged or defective items set out in the Refund and Returns Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability under or in connection with a sale is limited to the value of the order, except where the law provides otherwise (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct). Nothing here limits your non-waivable consumer rights.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, energy or supply-chain disruption, carrier failure, internet outages, or government measures. We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate impact and keep you informed.
11. Complaints and dispute resolution
Please email contact@showthelovefor.eu with any complaint. We aim to acknowledge within 5 working days and resolve within 30 days.
If we cannot resolve it, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may also contact the Slovenian Market Inspectorate (Tržni inšpektorat) or the consumer authority in your country of residence.
12. Applicable law
These Terms of Sale are governed by Slovenian law. As an EU consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of your country of habitual residence.
